Synopsis:

In his youth, Eduardo found happiness on the lawn behind a Spiritist center in the small town where he lived. It was there that he would meet Nicolau, the son of the center's leader. For a year, the two shared moments that made the rest of the world fade away.

However, upon finishing school, Eduardo chose a path that took him far from his hometown and his first love, leaving behind a promise to return that was never kept.

Decades later, now over forty, Eduardo watches as the happiness built on his past decisions gives way to grief. He no longer sees himself as a whole man.

He does not recognize the father he has become.

Lost and vulnerable, he decides to attend a reunion organized by his old school, believing he might rediscover happiness by choosing the path that leads back to Nicolau. Yet, as he confronts what he left behind, he discovers that happiness does not wait where it was abandoned.
